  1. SRARC members find out and follow federal, state, and local laws before metal detecting.

  2. SRARC members respect private property, and do not enter any non-public properties without permission.

  3. SRARC members do not damage the site, and refill holes after digging.

  4. SRARC members dispose of any litter found on the hunt.

  5. SRARC members report pollution and destructive and/or illegal activities to authorities.

  6. SRARC members only build fires in designated and safe areas.

  7. SRARC members work to preserve the natural treasures found on the shoreline.

  8. SRARC members hunt with courtesy and respect for others.

  9. SRARC members look out for fellow members, and warn each other of inhibitive weather or tidal conditions.
